We are looking for a Python Engineer to strengthen our team and help build robust, scalable data extraction systems. You will work with complex and diverse online sources, reverse-engineer data structures, and ensure the reliable delivery of high-quality datasets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling non-trivial unstructured data challenges and designing elegant engineering solutions.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient Python-based data extraction and processing pipelines.

• Analyze, reverse-engineer, and structure data from a broad range of online resources, APIs, and semi-structured formats.

• Develop and maintain the internal codebase powering extraction tools and workflows.

• Ensure the reliability and robustness of scraping solutions, including handling anti-bot systems, proxy management, and browser automation.

• Design and optimize scalable algorithms for data processing.

• Collaborate closely with research and engineering teams to deliver clean, normalized, and production-ready datasets.

What We Expect

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience.

• Strong understanding of common engineering principles and best practices.

• Hands-on experience working with APIs and designing data flows for various formats (JSON, XML, HTML, etc.).

• Familiarity with general engineering challenges such as optimization, reliability, and maintainability.

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously on mid-sized projects.

• Experience with scraping frameworks and tools (requests, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, etc.).

• Experience deploying scraping workloads to the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Understanding of distributed scraping architectures.

• Familiarity with Docker and workflow/orchestration tools such as Airflow.

• Experience handling and processing large-scale media data (images, video, audio).
